Editor,This is with reference to the story that appeared in The Sunday Times, August12, titled "Prepex centre solving male reproductive health needs”.I am writing to express my appreciation to the Ministry of Health for establishing this Prepex centre of excellence at the Rwanda Military Hospital. It is evident that the centre has been at the forefront in the circumcision of the male youth in a bid to improve the reproductive health of the male population. I visited this centre recently and I am speaking from a point of knowledge.It is also good news that our country has registered remarkable success in curbing malaria infections, the disease that remains the major killer in Africa and in other less developed counties.Stephen KanamugireKigali
