His goals were particularly instrumental in bringing Police within touching distance of their first league title this season as well as MTN Peace Cup.The former Atraco forward was previously linked to Tanzania giants Yanga, Gor Mahia of Kenya, APR and St. George of Ethiopia. He came into the lime-light when he guided Rwanda to the finals of the Cecafa Challenge Cup and went on to finish as joint-top scorer (five goals) at the tournament. After sealing Kagere’s move, Micho plans to widen his scouting network for Amavubi key players such as Olivier Karekezi, Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza and Jean Claude Iranzi.Skipper Karekezi is reported to be undergoing trials with South African side Amazulu which is managed by former Amavubi coach Roger Palmegren.
