This may sound awkward to some people but I can assure you, I am of sound mind. I’ve always wondered why some men do not care about anything but themselves - for example cheating on their so called loved ones! It beats my understanding to the point that I end up with the conclusion that perhaps they do not know what is like to have their heart broken because if they did they would not be so keen to move on from woman to woman. It can’t be at all easy for a woman to find out that the man she loves and cherishes, puts above all others, is cheating on her. Save from the disappointment, trust is broken and so is her ability to trust another man. A friend of mine called Jessica has been married for nine years. Together with her husband David, they have three sons. Nine years is not easy – not many have been lucky to go that far. For Jessica, it has been an absolute nightmare seeing as her husband is a serial cheater.  The man has set his reputation as a true Casanova and only goes back to his wife when he has had enough rounds elsewhere.  Jessica once caught him red-handed, cried and begged him to change his ways. She was determined to fix her marriage even though the other party was clearly unmoved. Eventually, after trying to make things work with no success, she decided to let him do whatever he wanted. I just wonder if the tables were turned, how would this man feel? Why would anyone disrespect the person they married that way? If you are going through something like this, take heart. Do not do the same because that does not help at all. The best solution is to pray for them, continue loving them and above all, ask the Lord to keep you strong.  The Bible says, "Do unto others what you would want done to you.” If we could all take this saying into serious consideration the world would be in harmony. But the rate at which men are cheating on their wives is alarming and I wonder if they have hearts because that is a heartless thing to do. To the men who act this way, please think about the pain you are putting your spouse through and understand that you can put an end to her heartbreak.
