Women today have resorted to wearing weaves not because they do not have hair or are bald, as most men think, but because of the different advantages these weaves have. Weaves help women in different ways.  They don’t need to go to the salon all the time and combing is easy.Kabatesi Doreen is a student and a businesswoman. She says she cannot do without a hair extension for the long period of time since she started going to school. This is because if she didn’t have them she would be required to go to a salon every weekend. Something she is too busy to do. ”Weekends are the most convenient days for me to visit almost all my people that I have not seen throughout the week. So going to a salon would not let me do that; that’s why I prefer keeping my hair in a weave”, she adds. Many women have also resorted to this because it consumes the least amount of time to prepare it in the morning, especially for women who have children to take to school and then go to work themselves."With my weave, combing it and preparing myself for a day is never a difficult since most of my weave styles aren’t not for combing,” says Angela Kayitesi, a Kacyiru businesswoman."The only thing I have to do is to spray the weave and then roll my fingers in the hair and all is well”.All these advantages make weaves and extensions a great option for women on the go. Why waste a lot of time combing and styling your hair when you can use weaves?
