Let me be

You and I just have to agree that if there’s anything that we would love another person do for us- that one thing where failing is not an option - it is to simply let us be; to give us the benefit of that peace of mind!

You and I just have to agree that if there’s anything that we would love another person do for us- that one thing where failing is not an option - it is to simply let us be; to give us the benefit of that peace of mind!Since we are now on the same page, I can give you my reasons for addressing the issue. You see, I’ve learned that if there’s a state in which anyone will flourish, (and I hope you’re not thinking of it in liquid and solid terms), it is when he/she finds themselves feeling like they are at peace with themselves. They need people around them encouraging them to be whoever they can be in that state, without literally pushing them in a particular direction.I know many young people will relate well to this. By the way, parents, if you didn’t know, these are probably the three words that your daughter or son would love to say out loud to you every single day, especially when you’re very busy complaining about what they didn’t do or instructing them on what to do and what not to. I don’t mean to discourage you’re selfless efforts to nurture us into the best young people there possibly can be out there. But I’m only sharing with you the interesting and ironic nature of the growing human beings we are. And of course, in a non- extreme manner, we are well aware that any success they achieve is because of the effort you so tirelessly exert unto us. However where extremes are concerned, we definitely want to shout it out! ‘You are your own and so am I.’Apart from that, everywhere else in society - the grave importance of fostering ones originality stands out. It has always stood out because it is then that they can be creative and in turn significantly productive… when they feel like they are steering their own wheel. Of course culture does have a contradictory edge to part of the idea but I believe for the most part, it is for more positive reasons than negative. Our society still suffers the ‘what others think syndrome’ but we know that isn’t healthy for our development, and yes, development is more than beautiful buildings and the Vision 2020 pictures of our country in the future. It’s also about healthy attitudes of the people for that kind of future.Eventually, it comes down to the point; outstanding results of creativity are a product of originality, outstanding leadership, outstanding artistry, outstanding performance, outstanding anything - more of a product of originality than anything else I know of at least.  Let them be!Each of us should have the pleasure of telling everyone we think needs to hear this from us "you may not understand me, but you have to accept me!”
