Last Sunday was a breathtaking evening of style as the Rwanda Clothing Home redefined fashion through a fashion show held at Kigali Serena Hotel’s conference hall. The theme of the event was ‘Rwanda clothing summer show.’ The first set of models cat-walked in style, as they displayed different collections for both men and women which included, among others; evening gowns, casual wear, weekend and summer outfit. As presentations proceeded with the host Lion Manzi, smooth ballads brought about a sensational mood of ‘style’. A true and vivid work of clothing displayed demonstrated the Rwandan culture through the designed outfits. Fifty outfits that were showcased at the show were mostly with African and European print including- transparent, stretch and elastic material transformed into casual and various outfits. The Minister of Trade and Industry, François Kanimba, who was the chief guest lauded the Rwanda Clothing Home for its creative display of style and promised to focus on uplifting all designers in the same industry so as to broaden their market to even the outside world.
