Editor,Oscar Kimanuka’s piece in yesterday’s issue of The New Times under the headline "Why the Congolese people must put their act together” was a well researched article. We have always been shadowed and blackmailed by colonial musters through their so-called aid. It is high time we thought of our homegrown solutions to our internal problems. The west is tricking us and implicating Rwanda in DRC conflict to continue with their hidden agenda of plundering Africa’s wealth as we turn against each other. We depend on their technologies and they depend on our natural resources yet same resources are the ones they use to develop these technologies.  Therefore, they are totally depending on our lack of knowledge and they want to keep us under their control. Now is the time for Africa to rise up, remain focused and maintain our pride and dignity. But this will need African leaders to stand in solidarity for the good of their people.DonEditor,A well researched article and straight to the point. Objectivity is very important in writing. You can make your point clear without abusing anybody and being unbiased to people. The issues raised in the article are very crucial and give a lesson to many.  I would like to advise regional leaders to read this article. All Africans need to unite. The west keeps dividing us so they can control us easily.Bisimwa
