LONDON - The US men’s volleyball team beat Brazil 3-1 to maintain their perfect record at the London Olympics.With both teams having won their first two games of the competition, something had to give and it was the Americans who came out on top to cement their position at the summit of Group B.Brazil lie in second, level on six points with Russia, who beat Tunisia 3-0. Germany downed Serbia 3-2 to claim their first win of the Games.In Group A, Great Britain fell to a 3-0 defeat to Italy - the host nation’s third straight loss. They prop up the table while victory for the Italians saw them stay within striking distance of leaders Bulgaria, who posted a 3-0 win over Australia.Completing the day’s action were Poland, who downed Argentina 3-0.
