Editor, This letter is with reference to the article in The New Times of July, 31, tilted " Trade fair to boost local market ”. The trade  initiative by the Private Sector Federation ( PSF ) is indeed, commendable. The fifth edition of this international expo, provides the country’s private sector with the unique opportunity to exhibit and showcase their products and services to both domestic and foreign visitors.With over 400 exhibitors, who have booked around 720 stands, the Rwanda International Trade Fair 2012 is definitely poised to take the country’s trade to the next level.It is very encouraging to see participation not only from the neighbouring EAC countries, but also from Turkey, India and Pakistan to name a few.PSF leadership and its team need to be applauded for their unstinted support and encouragement to Rwanda’s small and medium enterprises which will enable the country to enhance product offerings over all sectors of the economy. Clarence  Fernandes
