Editor,It’s good news to hear that Rwanda Organisation of Professional Consultants (ROPC), a consultants umbrella, is being assessed to establish whether there are some quack consultancy firms duping unsuspecting public. I have a feeling there are several Non-Government Organisations and consultancy firms operating illegally. Therefore, the assessment is highly necessary.It’s important to consider and enhance the local skills and knowledge in order to build local capacity. ROPC is timely and heading in the right direction.James Gitari
