Last week, on Sunday, as I was walking to church, I was treated to a free kickboxing match that did not even cost me one penny. It was the most epic thing that happened to me all week and not even the likes of Golola Moses could display the kind of terror that I witnessed that dayA fight went down between a man and his supposedly possessive girlfriend. But that aside I was shocked at how brave and disrespectful women today have turned out to be.I among other people formed a circle to watch the free drama. Our faces reflected an almost uniform expression of shock and trepidation when a woman sunk her teeth into a man’s neck. For a moment there I believed she was a blood-sucking vampire. We watched on with the fascination of total horror as blood flowed down the man’s neck. What caught our attention is how he cried out in pain like an injured dog.When he managed to let himself free of what I believe was a female cannibal, he slapped that girl so hard I thought she had collapsed.Our heads revolved in unison to meet the girl’s body that was lying on the ground and no doubt it seemed lifeless.I being the chicken that I am, I was scared, I panicked and reached for my phone to call an ambulance, but before I could even dial the first number, the cannibal was up on her feet and still running to continue the fight. I could only imagine she was the female version of the undertaker.Women have picked up commando traits and the sad bit is they are practising on their spouses. Gone are the days when women were battered. It does not make me proud to say this but most of the battering nowadays is two-way.This should come as a warning to the gents, some of the women in this generation have lost their sense of feminism and my guess is the pressure is getting to them in all sorts of ways. If she has a career to worry about and kids at home and you want to try being the non-supporting husband, be my guest, but don’t say I didn’t tell you.One the other hand surely it does not mean that if the man of your dreams ceases to make you happy, you goof the living hell out of him. By nature, men are physically stronger and besides, violence has never been a solution to a problem.
