Editor,It’s sad to hear that Rwandans in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have continued to be targeted. It’s is not a surprise to me. Recently when the Congolese attacked Rwandan students at the University, I approached someone in DRC and asked him whether they consider the possibility that what they are doing might negatively affect their colleagues residing in Rwanda.I was surprised by the answer he gave me – that they were convinced President Paul Kagame would never sanction any attacks on foreign nationals. While every Rwandan should be proud of having such a leader, it is time the International Criminal Courts starts collecting evidences, which are so many, against the Governor of North Kivu province, a strong ally of President Joseph Kabila, for his involvement in orchestrating these targeted attacks against Rwandans and Rwandophones that are fast evolving into crimes against humanity.Francis Karemera
