The holiday season is a time to relax. However, some might find it hard to enjoy the holidays if they have suffered the loss of a dear one, or simply challenged with issues. Remember that you are a talented teen and have a lot to offer your family. If you like music perhaps you could engage in whatever you think suits you like piano lessons, playing the guitar or simply work on your vocal skills. Help with chores as well. That is one of the best ways to utilize your time at home and also be of help. You don’t have to do anything heavy but chipping in on the housework once in a while will surely make your parents happy. You can also use the holidays to improve your home economics skills and learn how to make various meals. Cooking is fun and it is something you can do as a family. If you balance homework, recreation and also family activities, the holiday will surely be put to good use. Holidays are the time to be near people who truly love and care about you. Go visit relatives outside the city, engage in sports and update your reading – read for fun! By the time school starts again, you’ll have achieved a lot more than you imagined you would when it closed!
