Ugandan Cranes striker Robert Sentongo netted URA’s consolation.Iranzi scored with a scorcher from about 30 yards that left URA goalie Yassin Mugabi without a chance on 9th minute.Ndikumana headed home the second goal off an excellent loop from skipper Olivier Karekezi on 34th minute to double the lead.URA returned after recess a much better side and when Ssentongo scored from close range after yet another defensive error from fellow Ugandan Johnson Bagoole on 56th minute, it set up a thrilling finale, but APR held on for the win.APR will now face Yanga in the semi final to be played either on Wednesday or Thursday depending on today’s quarter final clash between Azam and Simba. The reigning champions Yanga drew with Mafunzo of Zanzibar 1-1, and went on to win on penalties 5-3. Yanga beat APR 2-0 in the group stage.President Paul Kagame has once again injected $60,000 as the prize money for the three top finishing clubs.
