The men’s team had defeated Kenya in the first match 68-29 on Saturday and they cemented their status as the region’s junior basketball kings with a winning margin of 103 points in both games.However the women’s team was not so lucky after losing to Kenya 71-58 despite winning Saturday’s match 54-50.The men’s team will now represent the region in the African U-18 men’s tournament slated for next month in Maputo-Mozambique.
