Suspected Genocide fugitives were at it again three days ago, this time attempting to torch Rwanda House in London, also home to Rwanda Embassy in the United Kingdom.

Arsonists yet to be identified or arrested, on Monday night unsuccessfully sought to destroy the mission premises, along with other tenants.

Ambassador Claver Gatete was quick to point a finger to Genocide revisionists at large, among them Genocidaires themselves, who have of late intensified their campaign to subvert justice.

Some do so by traversing the world, claiming there never was a genocide in Rwanda. Others shamelessly make hollow arguments that the victims also killed after all, as they make a futile case for what they have coined as ‘double genocide’.

They accompany their false struggle with intimidations against whoever they identify as a soft target among their hunters.

Their ilk inside the country have gone to the extent of, not once, nor twice, targeting survivors, and a number of them have lost lives at the hands of these still blood thirsty sadists.

Outside of Rwanda, particularly in Western capitals where many of them have found safe havens, their killer instincts rarely bear intended results of consuming lives, partly due to enhanced security surveillance.

But they are compensated by way of having undeserved freedom to organise broad daylight conferences in which they tell foreign audiences who have little or no knowledge at all about Rwanda in 1994, that the heroes acclaimed the world over for stopping the Genocide were instead its villains!

However, as they reenergise themselves in some parts of the world, efforts to bring them to justice is gaining momentum in others.

Case in point is United States which has re-included 13 of the prime fugitives on its Rewards for Justice programme in which hefty incentives are offered to people who provide information that leads to the arrest of top culprits.

These criminals at the moment might find it possible to run, but ultimately they will have nowhere to hide. The world simply needs to remain vigilant.
