Mukura’s Ruremesha tasked to win league title

Mukura Victory Sport have given coach Emmanuel Ruremesha a one-year renewable contract with his main priority to win the 2012/13 Primus National Football League title.

Mukura Victory Sport have given coach Emmanuel Ruremesha a one-year renewable contract with his main priority to win the 2012/13 Primus National Football League title.The club’s secretary general Olivier Mulindahabi yesterday told Times Sport, "We have agreed terms with Ruremesha to be our next coach. He has been given a one-year renewable contract.”"…and among his main priority is to try and win the league title next season. In the last couple of seasons, we have done our best and finished among the big four, bit we want to push for the main prize (league title) in the coming season,” said Mulindahabi.He continued, "Mukura remain as ambitious as ever and even more this coming season. Ruremesha will be given all the support he needs including money to buy new players to re-enforce the team that finished third in the last campaign.” Ruremesha replaces Burundian born Godefroid Okoko, who switched to La Jeunesse at the end of last season after guiding the club to a third-place finish.At Mukura, Ruremesha will be assisted by former Espoir coach Etienne Ndayiragije, who came replacing former Amavubi and Mukura defender Canisius Nshimiyimana.Ruremesha will be making his second spell Mukura after he managed the Huye-based club in 2006 before spells with Kibuye FC, Atraco FC, Rayon Sport and La Jeunesse respectively.bonnie.mugabe@newtimes.co.rw
