My country has been crime free for as far as I can remember. However, the theft rate at Rubangura taxi stage is alarming!

Iam a civil servant and at rush hours when everyone is struggling to get a taxi home, other people with bad motives are actually in place to part with anything they can snatch from passengers. It is in fact very surprising when about 20 people fight for a taxi and then only 10 get in. The rest disappear in thin air after using the scramble for a taxi situation as an opportunity to steal items like phones, money and other valuable things. I think this kind of behavior is terrible and I am afraid thieves are just increasing in number. Police should take control of this situation because personally I am beginning to work late so I can go home when the taxi area is less congested.
