The Rwandan Ambassador accredited to Mozambique, Vincent Karega, recently hosted a reception for Rwandans living in Mozambique, to discuss various issues on nation building.During the meeting that attracted over 130 Rwandans, Karega challenged them to always work hard in their respective duties not only for their own dignity but also that of Rwanda.Louis Baziga, the Chairman of Rwandan Diaspora in Mozambique, encouraged those present to work together, with zeal, to strengthen the Diaspora society by promoting Rwandans living abroad. "Rwanda is our home, we should be proud of our country.” One of the members shared his experience on his visit to Rwanda, in December 2011, after living abroad for 17 years. He said he was able to attend the National Dialogue at the end of last year, which he said was the best forum for Rwandans living abroad to communicate their ideas to the country’s leadership.Karega, who has his residence in South Africa, is accredited to many countries based in the southern African region.
