Rwandan Afrobeats star Kenny Sol, alongside cultural troupe Ibihame by’Imana, thrilled revelers of the first game of BAL playoffs in which Stade Malien knocked out Cape Town Tigers with a nine points deference.

The game opened BAL playoffs that kicked off today and runs to May 27, at the BK Arena

Dressed in black, and backed by the Kigali Honey Bees cheerleaders, Kenny Sol delivered an energetic performance that lifted up the mood in the arena that was still filling up.

The young artiste who is among the most loved in Rwanda at the moment performed some of his hit songs like 'Joly', which left revelers wanting more.

Ibihame By'Imana culture troupe which consists of different Rwandan celebrities including Ruti Joel also gave revelers a taste of the Rwandan culture through their performance that was highly dominated by dances.

Renowned disc Jockey Contact Makeda, who is one of a few female DJs in Rwanda, was the main deejay of the game and delivered the best vibes to revelers.

Kenny Sol and Ibihame by’Imana are the first among many other artistes on the line-up of entertainers that will headline the BAL playoffs that kicked off today and will run up to May 27.

Other artistes confirmed to stage during BAL are Rwanda’s music stars Juno Kizigenza and Ariel Wayz, all who are expected to perform during today's game between REG BBC and Egyptian giants Al Ahly.

The game will also see renowned disc Jockey Michael Ndungu aka DJ Fully Focus and Contact Makeda spin the decks at the halftime show.

Others include ‘Inana’s’ hit maker Chris Eazy, Kivumbi King, Tanzanian star Ommy Dimpoz, and DJ Toxxyk, all who will perform during quarterfinals day two and semi-finals.

The championship game slated for May 27, will be headlined by Rwanda’s Afrobeat sensation Bruce Melodie and DJ Neptune from Nigeria.

Up to 240 TV channels, including Rwanda public broadcaster RBA and KC2, are expected to broadcast the tournament.
