The highlight of the evening was the announcement of Cogebanque's remarkable growth and financial performance. Notably, the bank witnessed a substantial increase in its income, soaring from Rwf5 billion in 2021 to an impressive Rwf9 billion in 2022.
This significant growth reflected the bank's relentless commitment to providing excellent financial services and nurturing strong relationships with its clients.

Cogebanque&039;s success story was further reinforced by the recorded profit before tax of Rwf13.2 billion, representing a remarkable year-on-year increase of 66.8%.
This growth was primarily driven by a notable rise in net operating income. With an 8% increase in total interest income and a 2.3% decrease in interest expenses, the bank experienced a commendable 12.6% increase in net interest income.
Ebenezer Essoka, Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Cogebanque, assured the clients of unwavering support and the bank's commitment to expanding its banking services, even in remote areas of Rwanda.
He emphasized the special significance of the gala, as it celebrated the mutually beneficial relationship between the bank and its clients.
