Editor, This is with reference to the article by Sunny Ntayombya titled "The world is twiddling its thumbs as Congo turns genocidal” (The New Times, July 11).I must say the article hit the international community squarely in the face but, unfortunately, I doubt whether they will ever change their attitude.As you know, I follow all Rwandan news and this DRC mess has made me very worried.The UN is putting itself in the same position as it was during the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi. That is a situation that we should all be very concerned about today.And Human Rights Watch is only adding fuel to the fire of chaos in the North Kivu.I will the article on my Facebook page and ask my friends to share it on their pages.Marie Collins
