Shades of Sin, a Brazilian soap opera, is a romantic comedy which portrays human values and the outcome or dangers caused by a money-oriented society.It’s about twin brothers who were separated during their early childhood and grow up without knowing about each other’s existence.As time passes they grow into men but fate brings them in the same place at the same time. One twin dies and the other acquires his dead brother‘s identity. Paco Lambertini (Reynaldo Gianecchini) the surviving twin discovers that he had a son and a twin brother. He also discovers that the woman whom he loves Preta de Souza (Ta’s Arajo) had not betrayed him in the past as he had previously thought. Although he discovers that his former girlfriend who he was about to marry Barbara Campos Sodre (Giovanna Antonelli) had a child with another man but she claimed the child was Paco‘s son. Barbara ‘s ambition and never ending thirst for wealth made her lie to  Paco  ‘s father Afonso Lambertini (Lima Duarte) and also plotted to kill him when he discovered that she was a fraud. Through the love triangle formed by Paco & Preta and the wicked Barbara, there are conflicts between ethics and ambition. Paco decides to reclaim his true identity hurting many people in the process.Shades of Sin, written by Joao Emanuel Carneiro and directed by Denise Saraceni, is starting soon on Star Times’ STVE1 and will be airing from Monday to Friday.
