Editor, I wish to comment on a documentary that was aired by Nation TV, a Kenyan television network, which linked some unidentified officials within the Kenyan government security circles to one Rwandan’s key Genocide suspect, Felicien Kabuga.
Editor,I wish to comment on a documentary that was aired by Nation TV, a Kenyan television network, which linked some unidentified officials within the Kenyan government security circles to one Rwandan’s key Genocide suspect, Felicien Kabuga. The national anthem of Kenya is a double-edged sword (both a prayer and a contract). The first verse says: justice be our shield and defender which creates a promise and obligation from the Almighty GOD to handle Kenyans with exactly the same fairness that is practiced among ourselves and towards our next-door neighbours. To quote the Gikuyu proverb: WEKA UURU NIWE WE-IKA- meaning that evil (like leprosy) brings highly infectious damage which is never quite registered until the vital organs start rotting and dropping off. Genocide fugitives like Kabuga are perpetrators of violence and must be hunted down by any right thinking member of society.I hope the Kenyan authorities will watch this documentary over and again. Lies can never cloud truth forever.

Editor,It is a big shame to be accused of hosting a Genocide suspect for years. Why can’t Kenya hand over Félicien Kabuga? If our own people are in The Hague, how about this criminal who participated in the Genocide against Tutsi?Jaro
