After the successful Masquerade Ball Party, organised by Manor Hotel last Saturday, the hotel’s management has pledged to organise more events to complement daily ones at the Nyarutarama-based 4-Star establishment. Irene Nuwagaba, the hotel’s marketing manager, revealed a series of the daily events as follows: Monday – Shisha night”, Tuesday -Movie night, Wednesday - Beautiful singles, and Thursday –Karaoke. Friday will be Swagger night while Saturday is reserved for Reggae –Ragga. Meanwhile, Sunday consists of Teenz Buzz and Bollywood night.Despite the above programmes, Nuwagaba added that there would also be specialised events. "Currently, we’re improving our menu, that’s why on July 27 we’re organising the first ever food and wine testing event.”"The event will also officially launch our new menu in all our three restaurants, namely: the Indian, Chinese and Italian hotels. Also in our main bar, we shall be serving unique drinks such as margarita.”After the food and testing session, the following evening, on July 28, will consist of the Masqueraded Ball Night. Also on the cards is the introduction of Mongolian food on August 3. "Due to geographic proximity and deep historic ties with China and Russia, Mongolian cuisine is also influenced by Chinese and Russian cuisine,” said Nuwagaba. "Our favourite will be Mongolian barbecue which is beef meat and vegetables cooked in large, round, solid iron griddles at temperatures of up to 300 °C (572 °F),”she noted.Part of the new menu is African dishes mostly consisting of local cuisine to take place on August 17.
