If there is one thing I’ve become awfully good at it is refusing to regret any decisions I made in the past. I strongly believe that if I hadn’t made these mistakes, I never would have learned anything either. But that is just my theory.
If there is one thing I’ve become awfully good at it is refusing to regret any decisions I made in the past. I strongly believe that if I hadn’t made these mistakes, I never would have learned anything either. But that is just my theory.I personally prayed every night that I would wake up in the morning – all grown up! The thought of not having to explain myself to anyone was simply too spicy. The fact that no one would come screaming at me to lay a bed – a bed I was going to sleep in again that very day (I never really understood that)– was even spicer. I got my wish – well it didn’t come overnight though sometimes I suspect it did. I’d be lying if I said growing up is everything it is cracked up to be. My mum gave up yelling about my messy bed or unfinished veggies years ago –that’s about the only thing I love about it!It’s just that, you don’t get to be young twice! If you insist on growing up way too early when you have the rest of your life to do that, you’ll miss out on some of the best years of your life. Stress about the pressures of being an adult when you finally become an adult! For now, just be a kid. That is what you are. Do things kids do – go watch movies with your friends, go out for ice cream, hit the amusement park and have the time of your life, hang out with friends and find fun ways to study. Games are a fun and great way to spend free time, engage in whatever it is are good at whether it’s chess, volleyball, basketball or simply running around!Relationships are fun but it is in your best interests to steer clear of them till you are old enough to handle them. Do not let anyone pressure you into doing anything for their own selfish agendas – I don’t care how cute they are! Girls, if your boyfriend thinks that by being naughty after classes is the best way to prove your love, then drop him like a bad habit. You have no business being naughty at school or anywhere else for that matter so a little advice, stay away from any naughty acts until you are ready to settle down –preferably married! Yeah – it sounds like a billion years away but trust me – it’s not.You still have the chance to do things the right way. Do not grow up then wish to turn back the hands of time. Worry about being a good child, sibling, student, neighbour…the rest will come later. You are young and free, enjoy it.
