Editor,Allow me to respond to a story titled "Rwanda, Turkey sign cooperation agreement” (The New Times, July 9). This cooperation is productive as the people of two countries are set to benefit. The two countries can mutually develop various sectors such as, energy, security, tourism, education, air transport, health, capacity building and infrastructure, which are still unexploited.Indeed, Turkey is an emerging economic and political power; so working with Turkish people will benefit Rwandans, especially those in business.Laura SGKigali---------------------------------------------Editor, It is good news to hear that Rwanda is strengthening bilateral ties with Turkey. Over the recent years, Rwanda has progressed in leaps and bounds in all sectors of the economy and I believe it has a lot to export to Turkey. There are also immense investment opportunities awaiting Turkish businesses. As a student who had scholarship from the Turkish government, I am so happy by this development and hope that very soon more Rwandan children will start enjoying similar benefits.Patrick RutayisireTurkey
