President Paul Kagame on Thursday, May 18, hosted a delegation from the Morgridge Family Foundation for discussions centered around philanthropic partnerships.
The Morgridge Family Foundation is a private family foundation with a mission to invest in the transformation in education for both students and teachers. The foundation also invests in organizations that are reimagining solutions to today's biggest challenges.
"President Kagame received a delegation from the Morgridge Family Foundation, to discuss philanthropic partnerships, with a focus on education,” Presidency said, without disclosing details.
Members of the foundation are in Kigali for an official visit, which the team described as "making visits and building new connections.”
On Wednesday, May 17, they met Bridge2Rwanda which nurtures exceptional Rwandan talent.
"Their work is a testament to the transformative impact of education and mentorship,” the foundation said in a tweet.
In Kigali, they also visited BK Group offices, as well as Imbuto Foundation offices.
"It was great to meet and have discussions with the Morgridge Family Foundation at our offices. We discussed ways both foundations are supporting their respective communities to achieve more and support the next generation to reach their full potential,” commented Imbuto Foundation.
