Mozambican President Armando Guebuza has met with a visiting senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) who has pledged more efforts to improve relations between the two nations to benefit their people.Cai Fuchao, vice head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and head of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, delivered a congratulation letter from the CPC CentralCommittee to the president on Monday over the 50th anniversary of the Frelimo Party of Mozambique.Guebuza thanked Cai for his participation in the celebration as the CPC representative, which he said is an important support for Mozambique. He also appreciated China’s assistance during cooperation between the two countries which is fruitful.Cai said long-standing friendship has been enjoyed between the two parties and between the two nations. The deepening cooperation in various aspects has brought to people substantial benefits, he said.China is willing to make more efforts with Mozambique to upgrade the relationship to a new level to benefit people of both nations, Cai said.
