Editor,Oscar Kabatende’s piece "Calling out to the witchdoctor constituency’ (June 26), was great. I really enjoy your column, Oscar, and keep up the good job.I’m also Rwandan and aware how vain people can sometimes be. I think you should start a blog where we can find all your writings. It is healthy to take criticism, appreciate good leadership without flattering the leaders, and debate public issues without mixing in religion.KweziKigali EditorMy heated rejoinder about Kenyans having the highest number of recorded Christians and pastors – was sabotaged by the now globalised "news” of a troubled Kenyan young man who consumed the heart and brain of his Ghanaian house-mate! Everyone is now driving on the other side of my "bewitched Kenyan” cubicle. I have also been reduced to contributing only fresh vegetables and fruits (no meat dishes ever) to the office parties. Kenyans, however, have been turning "lemons” into sweet lemonade ever since 1498 when Vasco Da Gama landed in Mombasa – therefore we are now busy adding a new safari attraction (witchcraft) to our tourism brochures.Margaret S.
