In March 2012, Abner Cyusa had a heart operation that made him well. His parents, Benjamin and Christine Ngarambe, held an event on June 24, 2012, at Le Pretemps Hotel to appreciate the people who supported them for their son’s heart surgery in India. "We extend our heartfelt wishes to our son who celebrated his 2nd birth day in good health; we thank God for that and everyone who helped us in prayer, financially to take him to India for treatment,” said Ngarambe, Cyusa’s father. In return to the favour that was shown towards their son, the family have decided to form a charity foundation, CYUSA PEDIATRIC FOUNDATION with the sole purpose of mobilising funds to help other children that cannot easily access heart treatment. They were also celebrating Cyusa’s second birthday  in good health. Cyusa turned two years old on June 19. "Dearest son, you have grown up to be a fine young man. Want to let you know that we will always be there for you, every step of the way and in every walk of your life. We love you dearly. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday!”Best wishes from Daddy Mummy, Aunties and Uncles
