ON Friday, the Rwanda Stock Exchange recorded a very high turnover compared to Thursday’s trading session. The total turnover for the day was Rwf828,659,000 from 6,525,000 BK shares traded in three deals compared to Thursday’s trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf51,270,800 from 271,200 BK shares and 48,400 Bralirwa shares traded in seven deals.

The total turnover for the day was Rwf828,659,000 from 6,525,000 BK shares traded in three deals compared to Thursday’s trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf51,270,800 from 271,200 BK shares and 48,400 Bralirwa shares traded in seven deals.BK shares traded at Rw126 and 127 then closed at Rwf126, registering a decrease of Rwf1 compared to the previous day’s closing price whereas Bralirwa counter was quiet and remained unchanged from Thursday’s closing price of Rwf350. KCB and NMG shares last transacted at Rwf135 and Rwf1,200, respectively. At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 684,000 BK shares between Rwf 125 and 126 and outstanding offers of 525,100 BK shares between Rwf127 and 130. On BRALIRWA counter, there were outstanding offers of 96,800 shares at Rwf350 and no outstanding bids.Overall, last week, the market recorded a higher turnover compared to the previous week’s trading session. The total turnover for this week was Rwf 1,462,013,600 from 7,447,400 BK shares and 1,479,100 BRALIRWA shares and 200 KCB shares traded in 47 deals compared to last week’s trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf 1,407,433,200 from 6,407,300 BK shares and 1,716,400 BRALIRWA shares traded in 32 deals.
