Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremyi Friday paid a visit to the Private Sector Federation and discussed with PSF leaders how to improve businesses.He was accompanied by the Minister in charge of Cabinet Affairs, Protais Musoni and of Trade and Industry, Francois Kanimba.According to PSF’s Chief Executive Officer, Hannington Namara, there are about 4000 members in the federation in 72 associations. He added that the organisation was working on increasing the membership by sensitizing the public and carrying out capacity building activities like skills training and financial resourcing."We need adequate support from the government so that we are able to decentralise the Private Sector Federation,” said Namara.Habumuremyi commended PSF for its achievement,s like the recent launching of the Kigali International Arbitration Centre."The best way to attract micro businesses is to show them that if they join associations in the PSF, they will learn how to expand,” said Faustin Mbundu, chairman of PSF.
