On Saturday, May 13, Kizigenza, accompanied by other showbiz celebrities including movie actress Alliah Cool, poet Junior Rumaga, producer Element, director Gad, and DJs Higa and Rusam, among others, paid an incredible visit to the school in what was considered to be a Thanksgiving event to thank his former school for their contribution to his career.

In an interview with The New Times, the singer of the &039;6Kg' EP said that he was pleased to be back home, where his music journey started, and to be able to share his experience with young people and his upcoming first album, 'Yaraje.'

""It was a proud moment, for sure. It has been three years since I released my first single and three years since graduating from Agahozo Shalom Youth Village, where it all began. I was very happy to perform on the same stage with young talents who have the same dreams I had during the time I was there,” Kizigenza said.

"The most exciting thing is that I was able to share my experience with the young people. At our early ages, we all have developing talents, but most of the time we don't have people to guide us, so it was really nice to chat with the students," he added.

The "Jaja" hit singer and his company shared their experiences with the students through a panel discussion, which was the concluding program of the event.

"Youth inspiration is one of the pillars of my art, which is why I didn&039;t go there alone. I went with other successful young people who have different inspiring stories to motivate those young people and show them that there is always a way to live their dreams."

Juno Kizigenza joined the music industry in 2020, when he started his career with the Igitangaza Music label owned by Rwandan afro-beat superstar Bruce Melodie. He released his first and breakthrough single, ‘Mpa Formula’, on May 13, since then, he has cemented his name among the top musicians in Rwanda, with many hit songs to his name..

"I'm releasing my album early next month (June), and I'm alerting my fans to be ready because something bigger awaits them," the 'Nazubaye' hitmaker noted.

In another interview that the singer had with The New Times later in March, he revealed that his upcoming first album will feature most of the unmentioned Rwanda's music big names.
