"The beauty of a woman is identified on her hair style,” so goes a popular saying. I bet this expression is true, because we have witnessed many living by it.

Hair styles and looks are among the most crucial things in woman’s lives and only a few who are actually branded as "Tomboys” will not jump on the bandwagon.

No wonder, many will prefer going empty stomach and sometimes starve their little ones but spare a coin for treating their hair.

A big section of ladies today, have fashioned their own hair styles, from braids, hair dyes and hair cuts of all sorts all in the name of changing their looks. And such styles are normally seen during parties and night hanging outs.

In other words, saying that "We are not contended with the way God created them.” 

Definitely, many are complimented by their looks and personalities. Scientists claim that personality and the physical appearance are compatible. When one’s personality changes, and so does the looks.

Just like many other beauty salons in Kigali city claim, the staff at Salon Trust says it has obligations to meet the target of beautifying its clients.

Located at avenue Karisimbi next to T2000 supermarket and opposite Ma Colline Fast Foods, the saloon’s manager Alex Mugisha, says that the saloon has professional ‘salonists’ and updated hairstyles.

"The provisions here include short hairstyles, medium and layered hairstyle and a lot more,” said Mugisha. He added that the aim of the salon is to beautify their clients and make them be contented with their looks.

"We are always looking to improve our services and we appreciate everyone who has helped to improve the place,” said Mugisha.

Joseph Babashi, a senior hair dresser and technician explains that the existing differences are usually in color or length as these changes provide more emphasis in unique looks.

Babashi is a Kigali based Kenyan beautician, who graduated at Pivot Point, a Beauty School in Nairobi in 1996 and worked at Serena Hotel in Kenya for five years.
