Editor,It’s good news to hear that the National University of Rwanda (NUR) has signed a deal with the Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF) under which the former will provide lecturers for the Rwanda Senior Command and Staff College at Nyakinama.If the army officers can get opportunities to study from NUR, it will reduce expenses the government will have incurred by sending them to international colleges.The initiative has been long overdue and the signing of this deal was highly necessary.Fidel Mbabazi Kigali
