Editor, I read with keen interest the article in yesterday’s issue of The New Times titled "Dutch investors explore business opportunities.”It is very encouraging to see how the New Rwanda continues to attract investors from around the world. This month, we have a team of potential Dutch investors representing 15 corporations who have arrived in the country to look at investment opportunities, especially in the agriculture and energy sectors.Next month, a 20 member SME delegation from India will arrive in Kigali to meet and help SMEs from Rwanda. What is more important, the SME delegation will also look at suitable investment opportunities in various sectors , including construction , BPOs, tourism , agriculture , manufacturing and even energy sectors. The focus of the first ever delegation from the Netherlands is on food security, which is of vital importance and will enable Rwanda to be self sufficient in this crucial area of the economy. However, the business opportunities available in Rwanda are attributed to visionary leadership and prevailing peace ushered in by the current government.Clarence Fernandesclavinmarketing@gmail.com
