The people of Zimbabwe have been living in a state of uncertainty and I would like to tell the whole world to help the country get out of the turmoil. We cannot afford to have another Somalia on this continent.

And for purposes of saving our fellow poor African men and women, let the AU come in. Otherwise I do not see peace in that country soon and the people of Zimbabwe have demonstrated that things are beyond their reach. If the AU has been under letting the issue, let it be informed that things may escalate into an outright war, for if you treat human beings wrongly they too react wrongly and two wrongs never yield anything good.

Neither the opposition nor the ruling party is able to settle the matters amicably. They are all handicapped in various different ways.

They all seem to be in a place where they do not know the next step and in such a situation a third party is inevitable. AU should thus help them.
