BUGESERA—Registration for the new national identity cards has been extended after an unexpected big turn-up of registers.

In Nyamata sector, the exercise was on Monday this week transferred to Nyamata youth center from Nyamata primary school.

The registration was still going on by midday on Monday.
Else where in the district, the head of planning at the district Claude Gasasira said that the exercise was due to end on Monday evening.

A number of problems were encountered during the registration including residents who didn’t have national identity cards.
