A group of women leaders from the USA, Ethiopia and Jordan have called upon all members of society to embrace the power of love which is the best tool to fight against prejudice and divisionism.The delegation of seven women led by Grace Nelson, wife of US Senator Bill Nelson Friday visited Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre to pay tribute to victims of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.The group is in the country to attend the official closing event of Gacaca courts slated for June, 18, 2012."What happened in Rwanda in 1994 is beyond human understanding. I am hoping and praying for the revolution of love around the world and it should begin with us,” said Grace.Grace said that her husband flew to space about 200 miles above the earth and he saw no borders that divided the nations of the world.According to Muru Girmy from Ethiopia, the whole world should learn from what happened in Rwanda and stay united."This is very painful, but it’s good that Rwandans are learning from it. Forgetting the past and trying to build the future is the way to go,” she noted.
