LIFE is very funny.  As a person grows they have things that they wished they did when they were young or vice versa. When I look back at my younger days, I don’t know exactly what it is that drove me to wear six inch shoes and walk crooked all the way to my destination.With the progression of age, I have come appreciate fine things in life. One of those things that I can’t live without are my moccasins.As we all know, most of the fashion today in women’s wardrobes have been heavily borrowed from the men. The first time I saw women wearing moccasins is when I saw some lady playing golf. Unlike other games, the rules of golf are so golden. Men and women who play this sport are usually spotless clean from top to bottom. Apart from the spotless polo shirts, checked shorts, white shorts/trousers or khaki. The other thing that was so familiar with golfing were the stylish and colorful moccasins; though with recent times things are changing.To many moccasins pass as just any other pair of shoe, but to those who know what a good shoe is all about, moccasins top the list. It is no wonder moccasins are now one of the most expensive shoes today.Very few ladies who know what good shoes are will never pass by a pair of moccasins for anything. I went to shop with my friend Jackie one day, and as she was looking through six inch stilettos and louboutins, only one thing attracted my eyes; a pair of ostrich skin moccasins.I asked the price of the shoes and was told the price, which was fair enough and decided I was not going home without the shoes. Even though the size looked an inch smaller I was happy when they fitted my size.My friend was not amused that I bought only a pair at such amount, money which was enough to buy me four pairs of shoes- but again shoes which are not my type, and they do not come close to what is my style.What I like about moccasins is the fact that not only are they for weekends, but can be worn to the office as well.From Jessica Biel to Zoe Saldana, these celebrities have been spotted at one time or the other wearing their moccasins.The rules in many companies today favors the stylish employee, so even for lovers of moccasins, you can still go to the office in them and still look very smart and decent.These shoes can be found in many colors and types. They can be in suede, leather, checked, ostrich leather, patent leather and many more. Whatever design and leather type a person chooses will all depend with how deep your pockets are.Whether you are in a suit going to the office, in jeans going for shopping with your family or in shorts going for an evening walk with your partner, moccasins remain an all-star shoe!
