G.I. Sorora  and Associates, a local marketing and Public Relations firm is in the final stages of starting up a Kids Soccer League in the country in the next two months.

According to Henry Rugamba, the brain behind the league, the KSL whose registration is set for next month will merge children aged 4 to 14.

"Registration is set for June 7 because we want to get this league going,” Rugamba who was also involved in the famous Uganda’s KKL league back in the days as a sponsor and a keen fan said. He also said that the ministry of sports and culture is excited about the league.

The league will be spread in five age categories; the toto’s (4-5), juniors (6-7), Mid’s (8-9), seniors (10-11) and the super seniors (12-14). On top of bring together children of all calibers; the league will also be used to spot future soccer talent.

The league will be jointly run by Rugamba and Godfrey Mugisha. Mugisha who boosts of wealth talent in sports management is an ex-international footballer who began his career in the Uganda youth team.

He later moved to Bristol Virginia where he was involved in training and skills development at a soccer academy for youngsters aged 6-18 years for over seven years.
