BEFORE the Upvillers had their supper, yesterday, Lady May had to go through a speech. The "Thrive anti- Poverty and Hunger project” speech was very boring leaving almost everybody sleeping. Maneta was not attentive she instead filed her nails when Keitta was already snoring. The Goldezzo family hardly listened to the speech as they easily slept off. It was Roki and Barbz who were attentive through the speech and they tried to jot down some points and they asked questions though Lady May was stumbling over her words.The speech was about the "Thrive Hunger Project” which was showing how hunger affects most of the African countries. It’s true that most African countries are facing a vicious cycle of poverty and hunger which are the features of under development. It was so sad that most of our African Upvillers never gave the speech attention.After the reading Maneta and Barbz went to the bedroom as Roki and Lady May stayed to summarize the "Thrive Hunger Project” speech.Going to bed without eating food is very common in many African countries and therefore as Africa, we need to do some urgent about it.
