Clarisse Tesi is a young girl who is nine years old. She says she hates living in a dirty bedroom. I asked her what she does to keep her room clean and she told me her story. I was so happy to hear this from this young girl, and I believe all children can be like Tesi who cleans her room."I cannot clean my room during the week because I have to go to school,” says Tesi, adding that during those days it is the housemaid who helps her.She only has the time to clean up weekends. Tesi said, her teacher told them to always help at home by practicing to clean their bedrooms."On Saturday when I wake up, I begin with cleaning our wardrobe. I share it with my little sister, Agasaro. I start by getting all cloths out and folding them. I place blouses, skirts, dresses and trousers separately. Of course, I make sure that the clothes I use when going out are separate from those ones I wear at home. I do the same for Agasaro."This makes it easy for me and Agasaro, to choose which clothes to wear after school. "After folding them, I put them back in the wardrobe. I start arranging our shoes and put them in order under our wardrobe. Then I get a broom, sweep the room, and mop it as well. After that, I make our beds. "I arrange our books on the small table, after wiping it. One thing I like about this is that even when I don’t do it well, someone is there to help me. This way, I learn to do it better the next time."After that I feel so happy that our bedroom is all cleaned up! Then I make sure I tell Agasaro not to disorganise it, and she is always careful about that.”Tesi said she loves cleaning her room because it makes her feel responsible.
