SIM CARD registration must be fast-tracked
Editor I heard that the terrorists in the Nairobi bomb blast recently escaped police trail through changing their sim-cards. I think this points to one key flaw of our liberalisation policy, namely the potential threat of allowing such sensitive security matters like communication gadgets to be sold on streets.

I think this points to one key flaw of our liberalisation policy, namely the potential threat of allowing such sensitive security matters like communication gadgets to be sold on streets.In countries like Ethiopia and South Africa, you can’t simply buy sim cards the way we do it in East Africa.
