2014 World Cup qualifierSundayRwanda     vs     BeninRwanda’s group H rivals Benin are gelled up to extend their good start towards qualifying for 2014 World cup finals by winning tomorrow’s clash between the two teams at Amahoro stadium.Benin have been in Kigali since Wednesday. Last week, the Squirrels beat Mali 1-0 in their first World cup qualifier back in Cotonou courtesy of Razak Omottoyossi strike.Head coach Manuel Amoros, who played for France in two World Cups in 1982 and 1986 is confident that his team is well prepared to face any opponent in both World Cup and African cup of Nation’s qualifiers.The 49-year old believes that Benin will replicate the same result they attained a week ago when he faces Rwanda for a third in a space of one year this Sunday."We are more than ready to meet Rwanda who are a very good side but we have a very good record against them,”"We started our campaign well by winning at home and now I believe the team has meanwhile gelled well and we can also get the same positive results away in Rwanda,” Amoros told Super Sport."My players have shown exceptional commitment and I believe this has been the manifestation of very hard work and pure dedication. I have had the chance to watch our Rwandan opponents and I believe I have got a strategy to get a win against them,” added Amoros.Benin team will be relying on the prowess and creativity of Zamalek based Razak Omottoyosi, Stephane Sessignon (Sunderland), Babatunde Bello, Mika Pote, Djiman Koukou and Jordan Adeoti to help them snatch a hard-earned victory.Rwanda played Benin in qualifying rounds for 2012 Africa nations Cup finals. The Squirrels beat Amavubi 3-0 in Kigali before suffering a 0-1 defeat by Amavubi in Cotonou thanks to Meddie Kagere’s debut international goal.Amavubi got their campaign off to the worst possible start suffering a 4-0 drubbing against the Algeria last weekend and need to win tomorrow to boost their chances.Injury scareMeanwhile, Hamza Nkuutu reports that striker Elias Uzamukunda gave the coaches a scare when he limped out of yesterday’s training after getting a knock on the right knee.

Team doctor Assuman Nuhu played down the extent of the injury, insisting it was just a minor knock and that the striker would be fit for Sunday’s game.

He said, "It’s a minor injury and unless something goes wrong afterward, I think he will ne ok to play on Sunday.”
