Editor,Please allow me to extend my appreciation to the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Rwanda, Opia Mensah, for his article, ‘‘Roadmap to a green economy’’, published in The New Times of Tuesday, June 5.Environment is and should always be one of the top priorities and concerns of all people across the globe, not just here at home. On this matter, I also concur with Mr Mensha on his observation that environment is a key factor for sustainable development. That is to say that we can utilise our resources sustainably without causing any ecological imbalance that will result into the degradation of our entire biodiversity.My appeal to you The New Times is to keep us informed the way you have been successfully doing through articles such as these.Nicholas Muhiire
