A Christian organisation Orphan Care Ministries–RWANDA (OCM) has donated books and cloths to 200 vulnerable children and victims of HIV/Aids.


Presiding over the function, the Director of OCM Leonard Gakwaya appealed for concerted efforts in helping vulnerable  
"We all have to work together to help vulnerable people, they need our support to survive,” said Gakwaya.


Gakwaya emphasised on the need to support children’s education, "Education is the key to a successful life.

We need to equip our children with knowledge this is why we give them the books, pens and clothes to facilitate them study well.”


Gakwaya said that OCM provides counseling to people living with HIV/Aids virus.


The Executive Secretary of Nyarusange Cell, Patrick Mpunga hailed OCM for their donation.


He appealed to beneficiaries of OCM’s donation to form associations for developing there areas.


OCM is a local Christian organisation operating in Rwamagana, and helps 200 children aged between 6-10 years.


Over 200 widows and women in absolute poverty have also registered as beneficiaries of OCM services.
