Nigeria to construct a museum for country’s leaders

The Nigerian government says it will construct a Presidential Museum to showcase the life and times of the country’s past presidents and heads of government since 1960.

The Nigerian government says it will construct a Presidential Museum to showcase the life and times of the country’s past presidents and heads of government since 1960.The museum would mark 100 years of existence of the nation by 2014, said President Goodluck Jonathan in his Democracy Day national broadcast. "Nigeria will be 100 years as a single entity in 2014, counting from the 1914 amalgamation of the Northern and Southern Protectorates by the erstwhile colonial masters,” he said.
