Rwandan artiste Ally-G and Burundi’s Kapten Elizo have released a joint single dubbed "Ingabo itabaye”. The Hip-hop and Rap track was produced at Unlimited studio in Remera, Kigali.According to the artistes, the song "Ingabo itabaye” is a tribute to soldiers in the battlefield in their attempts to rescue people. "Our song is dedicated to all the soldiers who sacrificed their lives to stop the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi,” said Ally-G.The duo fostered a good working relationship during their first collaboration, and already working on its second song titled, "Impumuro yiwachu”, though with heavier dance beats. The song will be produced at Showface studio.Ally-G, 22, who has already worked with different artistes in the region, also has a song dubbed "Kadongo kewafe”, featuring Ugandan female rapper Sister Charity.Speaking to The New Times, the 25-year-old Burundian artiste said that "Ingabo itabaye” was his debut cross-border collaboration. He hopes this will be a stepping-stone in his musical career.
